How Can Jesus Help Me?

If you have diabetes, you might notice I write about God in my diabetic experiences. Now you may be wondering, “How can Jesus help me?” or “What does God have to do with diabetes?” Let me explain…

God created you. He knit you together in your mother’s womb…before you were born. Did God plan for you to have this awful disease? No, diabetes and other illnesses come as a result of human beings being sinful and imperfect people. With sin and imperfection comes death and sickness, hence you get diabetes!

How can Jesus help me? Jesus helps me get through each day. As a diabetic, you know you need to keep your sugar level within a good range.  You can pray and ask God to help you live successfully! He cares about you and your body and wants the best for you.

The Bible was written as a love letter to you so that you might have direction and a manual “how to” live life.  No, the Bible doesn’t help you with the medical problems of diabetes…that is what an Endocrinologist does! (Diabetic Doctor)

Jesus, the son of God, came to earth to live as man. He came and died for your sins and mine, so you and I can have eternal life with Him! One day, we can have a perfect body without diabetes! The Bible says in John 3:16,17

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
